OCCUPATION
After graduating from the University of Belgrade with a degree in product Design, I worked for Ford Motor Company’s Design Center for 24 years as a Product Designer, during which period I was awarded more than a dozen U.S. Patents.
I am very proud to have been recognized by International Design Magazine as one of top 40 design innovators in the U.S.A. and Europe.
STATEMENT
I consider myself primarily a sculptor.
Both my sculptures and paintings are contemporary in their sparseness and classic in their essentiality. The difference between the mediums is in the approach, but the goal is the same.
My goal is to create a perfect balance in the interaction of lines and surfaces
which reflects light to the viewer. This sparks three dimensional magic – different in each viewer’s eye and mind. For me, the simplicity of line and form carries a great power.
My favorite statement by Pablo Picasso is:
“The fewer the lines, the more important each line.” |
